Doctor Venus is in charge of the expedition with Professor Matic by her side. On the planet, the malicious little Lilispatians hold Lt. Ross of XL7 hostage and plan to force the arriving space immigrants to be their slaves. How will Colonel Steve Zodaic rescue them from a future of forced slavery? This is a color animated remake of the UK children’s show Fireball XL5, created by Gerry & Sylvia Anderson. Produced by AP Films and distributed by ITC Entertainment, it appeared on US television from 1963-1965 on NBC. The voices, sound effects and music are from the original TV broadcast.
