Unable to keep her nose out of his affairs, Margaret Weldon (Lucille Ball) helps her advertising man husband, Bill (Franchot Tone), trick the mayor into endorsing a new, and very comfortable, hat. Inspired by her success, the meddling Margaret then dives in to help when an eccentric crackpot inventor seeks Bill’s help in promoting a miracle embalming fluid. But when the invention actually turns out to be a hair remover, the ensuing chaos leaves Margaret and Bill scrambling to salvage the account as they prepare to embark on a long-overdue honeymoon in Bermuda.
